This position leads client accounting and advisory services for a large portfolio of 150-200 clients. The role oversees month-end/year-end close processes, reviews financial statements and workpapers for GAAP compliance, and delivers budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial insights directly to clients.
You will manage and develop a team of five bookkeepers/junior accountants-delegating work, ensuring quality deliverables, and providing coaching and performance support in partnership with firm leadership.
The role requires strong technical accounting skills, including reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, resolving complex accounting issues, improving internal processes and controls, and utilizing cloud accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Sage Intacct. The position emphasizes structure and support-leadership is embedded, and you are not expected to handle everything yourself.
